Goodwood Church of Christ

Chris Salter was born in Monroe, LA and grew up in Sterlington, LA. His dad, John, was an insurance investigator. Chris was baptized in 1979 by Eric Middleton at the Jackson Street Church of Christ. Chris married Lisa, his high school sweetheart. They have two daughters, Cameron and Larkin. Chris is the Director of Rawson, LP where Lisa also works part-time in Accounting. When not working, Chris enjoys golfing and Lisa is a talented gardener. They both are LSU sports fanatics, and attend games whenever possible. The Salters began attending Goodwood in 2001 after their move from Monroe. Cameron’s baptism in 2007 at Goodwood holds a special memory for Chris.

Chris began serving as a deacon at Goodwood on December 9th, 2007. He is currently in charge of Visitation.
