Goodwood Church of Christ

Michael Teague was born in New Orleans and was raised in West Monroe. His father, R.D. is an electrical engineer and his mother is a homemaker. Michael serves as a physician at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. For fun he enjoys running and doing whatever Keri recommends he do! Michael was baptized in 1996 at the Forsythe church of Christ by Don Glover. He credits his family and spending time among the Mormons in Utah as being key in bringing him to faith. Michael first met Keri in tenth grade biology class. Keri enjoys her Nia exercise class and socializing. Michael and Keri have three children: Katie, Will, and Colin. They love to visit their grandparents. For fun the family enjoys riding bikes and going on trips.

The Teague’s came to Goodwood in 2001. Michael was installed as a deacon on February 13, 2005 and works especially in the area of health and safety. The Teague family appreciates the welcoming atmosphere of the Goodwood congregation and the genuine interest expressed in their family.
