Goodwood Church of Christ

Mike Chivleatto was born in New Orleans, LA and raised there on the West Bank by his parents, Frank and Eleanor. Mike is the Director of Maintenance for Calco Travel. He met Julie through a relative and began attending the DeGaulle congregation with her. After they married, he began an intensive study with Bill Burchett, who later baptized Mike in 1997. Mike loves to golf, travel, watch movies, and play Nintendo Wii games. Julie retired from the Jefferson Parish School System shortly after they moved to Baton Rouge in 2005. She owns Ascension Learning Center in Prairieville. Her hobbies include stamping, reading, and gardening. The Chivleattos have three adult children: Chris, Mario, and Abby. They placed membership in 2006 and have been actively involved ever since. Mike and Julie fondly remember participating in Bible Bowl at Goodwood with their children while they were members at DeGaulle.

Mike was installed as a deacon at Goodwood on December 9th, 2007. His primary areas of service are: Buildings/Grounds, Visitation, and Transportation.
