Bryan Kirby - Minister

As the elders announced on April 12, Bryan Kirby will be beginning his work at Goodwood as our Associate Minister on June 1, 2009. Bryan and his wife, Revonda, currently live in Cape Girardeau, MO where they worship with the Jackson Church of Christ. Bryan, a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, serves as a deacon there and also has been heavily involved in preaching, teaching, and a number of other responsibilities. Revonda uses her law degree to work as a children’s advocate in the Missouri court system and has demonstrated a love for children as a houseparent, alongside Bryan, for a number of years at the Pineville Children’s Home in Corinth, MS. Their three teenagers will also be a blessing to the Goodwood church. Jessica (age 16) is a junior in high school and enjoys softball, singing in choir, and chatting on Facebook. Rebecca (age 13) is in the 7th grade and enjoys various school activities (including band, student government, chamber choir, running track, cross country), and reading. Their son Dustin (age 15) is in the 7th grade and enjoys running track, cross country, skateboarding, video games, and WWII movies. We look forward to working alongside of the Kirby family as we anticipate their moving here in early June.
