Goodwood Church of Christ

Chris was born in Denver, Colorado but after several family moves, calls Austin, Texas home.  She attended Abilene Christian University briefly but soon married Clayton, her husband of 31 years.  They have 2 sons, Samuel, a junior at Harding University and John who is in the 8th grade.  Clayton is a career employee of ExxonMobil and has been an accountant with the company for 30 years.  The family lives in Zachary.  In addition to working as assistant secretary, Chris is also the director of Goodwood’s Mother’s Day Out program.  She truly loves to be with young children and working to teach them of God’s love.   Chris’ hobbies are crafting with rubber stamps, sewing and spending time with her boys.
