Goodwood church of Christ

J.D. was born in Marietta, GA, but spent most of his life in Franklin, TN . He attended Harding University, majoring in Bible and Religion. While at Harding he was active with Spring Break campaigns, Student Impact and Social Clubs. He and Meg started dating freshman year and were married in December of their senior year. They both graduated in 2002 with Bachelor degrees, J.D.'s in Bible with a minor in Psychology and Meg's in Elementary Education/ Special Education. J.D. and Meg remained at Harding to complete Masters' level work in thier respective fields. In the summer of 2004 J.D. completed his Masters' degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. During this two year program Meg taught fourth grade at a local school and completed her Masters' degree in Reading. After graduation J.D. worked as a Licensed Associate Counselor. J.D. and Meg have three daughters: Gabriella Grace, Lexie Mae, and Luciana Jadie. J.D. has worked with the Goodwood congreagtion since the summer of 2005.
